           Summary: GenBank/__init__.py: Removing loop over
                    string.whitespace
           Product: Biopython
           Version: Not Applicable
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Main Distribution
        AssignedTo: biopython-dev at biopython.org
        ReportedBy: bsouthey at gmail.com

The function '_clean_location' in GenBank/__init__.py uses a 'for' loop over
string.whitespace that removes whitespace from string. A simpler way is to just
split the string on whitespace and rejoin it as a single line:

location_line=''.join(location_string.split())
