Have you read Elia's latest email? The latest fasta-reader bug was the
inability to cope with '>' in the description line, solved long before Oct
11th. To re-iterate, something that doesn't work but works if you change a
line is not necessarily fixing a bug. Thanks a lot Elia for checking on
another system, I have no 5.004 at hand, so I couldn't have checked myself.
This also makes it clear that we rely on Perl 5.005: does this create a
problem? Shall we retain compatibility with 5.004 (this would imply that
there is someone responsible for checking this regularly, I for instance
can't)? Which version do we require in Makefile.PL? (Sorry, I don't have
the code at hand.)
