Research Investigator  Bioinformatics
Job ID 18053BR

The successful candidate will provide general bioinformatics support to 
the research institute (malaria project), using both remote and locally 
available research tools and databases.

Requirements:
* PhD in Biology plus post graduate qualification in Bioinformatics, 
Statistics, Computer Science or Information Science, with at least 2 
years' relevant postdoc or industry experience.
* Demonstrable experience in systems biology or integrative bioinformatics 
is essential
* Must have programming skills in one or more of Java, Perl, Python or 
C/C++, and proficiency in working with a Linux/Unix operating system. 
* Knowledge of malarial biology will be an advantage.
* Experience in in-silico drug target identification and validation, and 
in use and management of databases.
* Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary and remote teams and 
possess excellent communication skills.

Successful candidate will be offered up to 5-year contract and relocation 
assistance to work in Singapore.
