Hi,

The following snippet

import java.util.*;
import org.biojava.bio.*;
import org.biojava.bio.seq.*;
import org.biojava.bio.symbol.*;
import org.biojava.utils.*;

public class TestProteinTools {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        System.out.println("The protein alphabet:");
        FiniteAlphabet alphabet = ProteinTools.getAlphabet();
        Iterator aaSymbols = alphabet.iterator();
        while(aaSymbols.hasNext()) {
            Symbol s = (Symbol)aaSymbols.next();
            System.out.print(s.getName() + " ");
        }
    }
}

prints three letter amino acid code from protein alphabet. The output is like this:

The protein alphabet:
SEC GLY THR GLU VAL ASP PRO TRP SER ARG ASN GLN LYS CYS LEU MET ILE PHE ALA HIS TYR

I wonder what is SEC (the first one). Thanks.

Zhen
