We use it extensively within FlyBase/BDGP. We also used it for
transferring the annotated drosophila genome data between
BDGP/Celera/genbank.

A biojava parser would be great - we already have a parser for our own
java objects, which you're welcome to look at.

I'd say hold off for a short while - on bioxml-dev we're discussing some
changes to GAME since some of the tags were deemed a little confusing for
some people at first.
