a note on JNDI and LDAP:

as simon said, JNDI was designed as a wrapper around many naming
services (the RMI naming service, the CORBA naming service, LDAP, etc.).
I just wanted to point you to this open source LDAP implementation

	http://www.openldap.org/

which could be used as a JNDI-compatible back-end for the idea of
resolving BioJava names via LDAP...so really no need to write anything
BioJava-specific in this area...
