[Biojava-dev] performance optimization

Hi Karl,

Most of the feature request for biojava are actually related to adding
support to new file formats and providing new parsers. There is little
complaint that BioJava is not performing as well as it could. I'd say if
you want to focus on performance, take a look at the Multiple Sequence
Alignment, otherwise you can also take a look at our feature request page
for some other ideas of what is missing...
