There is an example of how to read one of these files with biojava at 
http://www.biojava.org/docs/bj_in_anger/abi2seq.htm

You can also use the org.biojava.bio.gui.sequence.AbiTraceRenderer as a 
gui component to display them.

Hi,

I am looking for a Java tool that can display trace files 
(electropherograms) of ABI files.  How do I search your site for such?  Do 
you know of anything like it?
