Good. I like to read your comments first! Rewriting the IDLs is bit
boring.

As I said we should dig into this together or do we want to confess that
we have not learn anything from the good old flat file days. OK, many of
us earn nice pocket money by writing parsers for different file formats
(Perhaps we are digging our graves now....:-) ), but sure we want to do
now more than that. 

All we know what we can get if our systems start to work well together!
I do not mean only CORBA. We should start to use same models for other
data exchange implementations as well! Any volunteers who want to do the
DTD mapping ...? 

In fact is is very important to have common model behind the
implementations. I can easily see cases where we cannot map the data
from other implementation to other one, because some important piece of
information is missing or information is coded into complicated data
structures. Database people have recognized this impedance mismatch
years ago, when trying to map data between object and relational
databases.

Perhaps we should move the discussion at some poit to more general
level?
