[MOBY-dev] MOBY Namespace URI confusion

I'll change the moby-s one to "moby". Eddie and I discovered a couple of weeks ago that the SOAP::Lite parser fails to properly parse URI's containing a "-" character!! What a nightmare...

Thanks for the heads-up about this one!

Subject: [MOBY-dev] MOBY Namespace URI confusion

Hi all,

this morning I learned that two different URIs in the definition of the 'moby'
namespace are in use:
1 - xmlns:moby="http://www.biomoby.org/moby"
2 - xmlns:moby="http://www.biomoby.org/moby-s"

The latter one is - as far as I see - only used by the Perl module
MOBY::Client::Service for sending out service invocation messages. I would
not bother about it, but it seems that MoSeS generated Services just can not
deal with this, they require the first version.

So I'm wondering, is this
- a bug in the MoSeS XML parsers, which should not rely on a certain URI?
- is the second URI version just wrong and the mentioned Perl module has to be
changed?
Or both?

Best,
dirk
