I am already taking care of that (the minutes are on the Wiki).  I am
getting them transcribed as quickly as possible, but the MARC stuff is
taking the majority of my focus right now so I am only doing so in my
(ahem) "spare time"...

w.r.t. what you missed - it was primarily discussion of the realities of
setting up services, which is quite different from the hypothetical
cases that we were discussing in the past few meetings, and in the
strawman example.  In particular, the need for parameters (with
restrictions on ranges, default values, and so on) for all but the most
simplistic services.

In a later discussion, Damian and I talked about the value (and
publication fodder therein :-) ) of running the two approaches in
parallel and comparing the ease/power/behaviour of the two "competing"
methodologies; the web-service paradigm compared to pure semantic
discovery.  We have use-cases written that are independent of the
underlying methodology, and within 6 months or so we should be able to
set up services under either methodology, so we may be able to make a
very interesting publication examining the two approaches as they go
head to head... I suspect that we could get such a timely article in a
very good journal if we take the time to examine and document all
aspects of service provision and discovery carefully!
