[EMBOSS] error message with charge and pepstats

Hi,

I get the following error message when using the programs "charge" and  
"pepstats":

     EMBOSS An error in embprop.c at line 114:
Incorrect (old?) format amino data file

I work with EMBOSS 6.0.1

Files tested are in fasta format. Other programs read these files very  
well.
