yes.  as many of you know, i'm implementing a 'matrix' das domain space
where you can retrieve the cross product of two other spaces.  this is
appropriate for, as a concrete example, retrieving a 2-dimensional matrix
of measurements of genome features across a series of biological samples
(e.g. a microarray).
