All modules released in bioperl-1.2.2 package are considered to be version
1.2.2.

If you have questions about specific versions of Bio::DB::GFF for use with
GBrowse please ask away, I'm sure Lincoln or Scott will be able to tell
you if you mixing and matching the wrong things.

If you're new to our system we have a stable branch which is where code is
released from (currently 1.2 branch). There is unstable code on what we
call the 'main-trunk'. There are also other branchs 'freaky-dev' branch
which is foor Nat/Paul/ISB's needs.

At one point in the past Bio::Graphics (and I think Bio::DB::GFF) were
separate and not part of Bioperl - but that was pre-bioperl-1.0 I
believe and the version numbers from back then do not match up with
anything to do with bioperl version numbers.
