I have:

Linux 2.2, Perl version
[birney@riker birney]$ perl -version
This is perl, v5.6.0 built for i386-linux

[all tests pass]

Compaq Alphas: Not so good...

ecs1f[birney]106: perl -v

This is perl, v5.6.1 built for alpha-dec_osf

Failed Test Status Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
t/BPlite.t         	              97    1   1.03%  30
t/SearchIO.t       	             247   ??       %  ??
t/StandAloneBlast.t	   2   512     8    6  75.00%  3-8
t/TCoffee.t        	   2   512    14    0   0.00%  ??
t/consed.t         	              12    1   8.33%  12

(BPlite is formatting error on the numbers - fixed to use < > )

(SearchIO is a mis numbered skip on the tests failing - fixed)

(StandAloneBlast.t, TCoffee.t are due to weird crashes - investigating)

(consed.t --- I've got

-------------------- WARNING ---------------------
MSG: Bio::Tools::Alignment::Consed::count_sequences_with_grep: This sub
uses grep which is doesn't run on this operating system, AFAIK. Sorry.
---------------------------------------------------

fixed for the moment, but not ideal. Chad - I think we should rewrite
this using Perl internals not calling out to grep on the command line

)
